King's Day is celebrated on April 27 all throughout the Netherlands. It is the annual Dutch national holiday in honour of King Willem-Alexander.

Amsterdam is known for its world-class cruise canals,  Anne Frank's house, Heineken Brewery, Vincent Van Gogh museum, etc

King’s Day festivities start around midnight with thousands of people dressed in orange, the national colour. Boats filled with partygoers cruising on the lit up canals. 

HolidayIQ traveller Aditi Sanyal "The best time to visit Amsterdam is definitely during the best bloom weekends of tulips in the world famous Keukenhof garden. 
For us it coincided with the long weekend of Queen's Day.Fried potatoes (particularly the one with onion and sour sauce) There are a lot of shops to buy mementoes from."

Coffee shops like Bluebird, Rainbow and Grey Area can make your coffee experience great. American celebrity Snoop Dogg has visited Grey Area.
