Manish shares on HolidayIQ, "Wagah border and the Golden temple are the best places to visit. Parade at the Wagah border is a must watch." The Golden Temple serves as the identity of the city. Lovingly called the Swarn Mandir, this two-storied structure is covered with around 400 kg of gold! The sight of this temple is surreal on the full moon nights.

Dharmendra says, "The sheer elegance, grandeur and the ambiance of The Harmandir Sahib cannot be described in words. It can only be experienced. Of course, any time of the day or night, it is equally mesmerizing, but my favorite time has been the time after sunset. The lights add another dimension to the beauty of The Golden Temple."
