HolidayIQ Reviewer Vandana Dhingra says, “Trip to Goa with my family The greatest thing about this destination is the beaches and I like the North Goa beaches as compared to South Goa. A must see is the fort and garden of spices. December is the right time to go there. Naturally, it is different from other places, especially the beaches and Goan food. Shopping and eating places are very good. We shopped a lot. The flea market is also good. Those who are adventurous must travel here. There are a lot of activities on the beaches like parasailing and different water rides. We enjoyed every activity on the beach place and parasailing is very interesting. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Pawankalyan Gk says, “Government security is quite high in order to protect the people from the animals. The bus stand is 4 km and railway station is 6 km away. Mysore local buses are available to this place from any part of Mysore. The autos will charge you a reasonable price from the Mysore bus stand. I advise travelers to preferably spend at least 6 to 7 hours in viewing the zoo with your children and families to gain huge knowledge. Sugar cane juice is available at an affordable price and many varieties of dishes are also available. The sugar cane comes from Mandya and many other districts. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Shilpz S shares, “Local food and Shopping: Not very different from the normal Kerala cuisine. At the picnic areas, you may be forced to indulge in some fresh, bright carrots because they look so tempting in color. Shopping here is all about tea, herbal oils and general bamboo artifacts and furniture. You might see people selling some dried stuffing in plastic bottles claiming that it is medicine for hair fall. Refrain from buying these Activities: You can do a crazy amount of driving around winding routes through tea estates, gazing at sunsets, feeling the mist on your face as you enjoy the chill, horse riding, boating, small treks etc. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Gopu Mohan adds, “This is the world's second longest beach and India’s longest urban beach. Though busy all through the day, it is the perfect spot for morning joggers. The corporation has built enough facilities to cater to people's needs. The beach has thousands of shops selling food items and small artifacts. There are merry go rounds for kids. There is a swimming pool also. Bathing and swimming in the open sea is prohibited and patrolling is done by police mounted on horses. The beach is turbulent and is dangerous. It is a nice place for family, though during weekends it will be heavily crowded.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rakesh Boyina shares, “This is a very peaceful beach to enjoy your holiday in. The beach is maintained well, it is clean, and the water at the shore is not deep. It is the best place to relax on a holiday. Interestingly, it provides surfing on the beach (I have no idea about the pricing). It is located around 12 km from the city. You have a lot of street food near the beach and especially the Maggie sold it is yummy. Carry a pair of shorts and a lightweight football or volleyball to play beach sports. Do take your shades to escape from the sun. ” Read Full Review
