There is no wonder that it is called a mini-Goa. With all its charm it remains of the best places to spend a day by the beaches of Gokarna. It takes away all of your pain and makes you feel relaxed.

HolidayIQ traveller Abhinav Mohanty says, "White sands, crystal clear blue waters are things you will find here. The main beach at Havelock island is the Radhanagar Beach. The waters are slightly rough and its fun to play in those waters. Lifeguards and policemen are present on the beach. So security is not an issue at all. Make sure not to litter the place."

6. Bangaram Beach: The bio-luminescent beach in India

HolidayIQ traveller Ajita More says, "This is the least advertised place in India with absolutely unbelievable views. Bioluminescent beaches make you feel like you are in the Avatar movie. Waves are so clear and fishes are so abundant that you feel like you are standing in front an aquarium the whole time. Scuba diving, snorkelling, glass bottom boats; name an activity and it's there."
