HolidayIQ Reviewer Abdur Rahman says, “I have been there many times with friends early mornings on weekends. This time, I went with the family. The water is abundant here and the rocks below the bridge make the scenery even more beautiful. There is a park next to this place where the kids and family played, ate and enjoyed themselves. From the other end of the bund, we can get down to the side that is opposite to where the water is. There is a lot of greenery there with a really small pond of clean water. But I don't know if we are allowed to get down there. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Kavita Sahgal says, “After crossing two such bridges and a small patch of houses, we reached this place. The Double Decker Bridge is an amazing example of people living with nature. The bridge was so firm that one can jump and dance over it without any worry. The most beautiful part of the journey was the waterfall over which the Double-Decker Bridge exists. A few village kids were fishing in the turquoise water and beside us, there were no other tourists. We spend hours swimming in the water till more people started pouring in. This was one of the many travel moments which I would cherish forever. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Lionel Fernandes says, “This is a clean and calm lake. Yes, it is worth a visit and one can just relax in a house boat. During the early mornings, the lake is very calm. There are plenty of wild birds of different species to be seen around. Do not stay overnight as the prices are high and not worth it. Try fishing on the lake. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Purna adds, “This is a decent Beach and it is relatively clean. The best time to visit is during the evening as the sunset view is quite beautiful here. The beach is clean and suitable for bathing. One can enjoy the fishermen displaying their catch during fishing in their nets. Local street foods are also available here making the beach an ideal getaway. Watching the sky changing its colours during sunset is a treat to watch. The beach, though okay in cleanliness, could be much improved with proper attention from the municipality. The beach is easily accessed by road and the drive is smooth. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Anupam Banerjee adds, “Scenic Beauty: This place is a scenic beauty. You should go in with your own or a hired vehicle. The local extremists may extort money on the way. Resist the urge to take any valuables with you when you travel here. You can enjoy the place and return before sunset. Do visit the temple at Tamar Village. It is a Durga Temple. Take your own food as you may not find exactly what you want there. You can also take all equipment and ingredients necessary to make your own food and cook it there. Make sure you take clean water for cooking and drinking. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Narender Narender shares, “The garden has been given special care. As it is a government property, the entry to this place is also very affordable - Rs. 40 per person. Another interesting thing is that we can even bring food from home. This is a good option for those families who wish to have a one day picnic. There is a boating option available which is, of course, paid but is not up to expectations. There is a small playground for the kids so that kids can enjoy themselves. We even came across tree houses which are built beautifully and it is a pleasure to see them.” Read Full Review
