HolidayIQ Reviewer Saurabh Maheshwari adds, “The other side of the town is of tourist who comes here for relaxation and fun. This is different from all the beaches at least which I have seen, you have to climb a mountain and then trek down to reach the beaches, don't worry you can take an auto or your own cab to reach the top of mountain and from there you can climb down using the stairs, which are not so many.”

HolidayIQ Reviewer Saranya Devanathan says, “This place is near Honnavar. There are 2 roads. In one road about 1-2 kms mud road leading to a number of stairs leading to the hill. It is well designed with a lot of viewpoints to see the sea and beach, very scenic. The viewpoints have seats done with shells and broken glazed tiles, very artistic. The side of the stairs is done like a huge serpent.”

HolidayIQ Reviewer Satpaphy m says, “The beach is surrounded by small hills and also excellent for small treks along the sea coast through undulating mountains.

HolidayIQ Reviewer Priyanka Sinha says, “Andaman Watersports Complex is at the Aberdeen Jetty. We visited it before we went to Ross Island. It costs Rs. 350 per person for 45mins. There is a water slide which looks interesting. However, since the slide is high, you come down at a very high speed and get inside the sea.

4. Havelock Island

HolidayIQ Reviewer Archi Banerjee adds, “The Bharatpur beach is the seat for all watersports activities. Snorkeling at Bharatpur beach is a must as the water is crystal clear and you can see a whole variety of corals and colourful fishes. Those who fear snorkelling can enjoy the Glass bottom boat ride.

HolidayIQ Reviewer Aditi Nayar shares, “On our road to Radhanagar beach in Havelock, we spotted this board pointing towards the hills that said Elephant beach, because it looked like a trek that excited my friends. We went snorkelling in the rain, it was an experience to last a lifetime. On the way back we took a fisherman's boat, although we were not allowed to and considering the ferries were not there due to rain.

HolidayIQ Reviewer Tania Mukherjee adds, “If you stay in the crowded region then this would feel like just another beach of India but if you dare to walk away from the crowd following the coastline the beauty of the beach would unfold. There are lots of activities to do on the beach here. Horse ride, shooting games, tasting foods, banana ride over water thrive in the beach during day time.

HolidayIQ Reviewer JOJI JOSEPH adds, “We trekked along the Dolphin's point and the spectacle of Dolphins playing in the water was mind blowing. The natural beauty is the old world attraction maintained by the old lighthouse and the two crumbling century old docks that run into the sea.

Activities and things to do: The perfect way to enjoy the beaches is lazy walks with your loved one. For the more adventure craving, there are adventure sports and regular Dolphin seeing tours available at the beaches.”
