HolidayIQ reviewer Sreejesh says, "This island is few kilometers away from Malpe beach in Udupi, Karnataka. There is a boat service which costs Rs. 200 to get there and return on the same boat with a one hour halt. The place has great view of the Arabian Sea. The west side of the beach is filled with sea shells instead of sand, so the water is crystal clear. East side is more deep and has black pebble stones and sand."

HolidayIQ reviewer mahesh says, "Never thought Indian beach can be so amazing, clean, serene, beautiful. It's closed beach surrounded by mountains. It seems that you have landed in Maldives."

HolidayIQ reviewer Sulav says, "It is that beach in Gokarna which is very less commercialised. But there are multiple cottages for stay on this beach. It's not motorable, so don't plan to stay on this beach if you have your own vehicle. There are multiple cafes on the beach which are not at all expensive and always has a cool crowd. An evening walk and a chilled beer in any of the cafes would end your day at its best."
