HolidayIQ Reviewer SOMYA CHANDRA says, “Tiger Tiger ... where art thou !!! About 4 hours from Jaipur is the township of Sawai Madhopur from where you gain access to Ranthambore National Forest. Madhopur is a small town with numerous hotels that suit all budgets. The township is very simplistic and there isn't much to do apart from resting in your hotel or going for the Jungle safari.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Pratik N shares, “You have private small buses who can take you from Chandrapur to Moharli at small cost but this option is for backpackers and budget travellers....There are average hotel options available at the entrance of core zone - Moharli gate. ...If you want to see wild tigers in his home, Tadoba Tiger Reserve is a place to be. The tiger reserve has two zones: Buffer and Core Zone. Though core area offers better tiger spotting, people have spotted tiger with equal probability in the buffer zone as well.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rochelle Rebello shares, “At Mudumalai you have the following options - elephant joyride, Jungle bus safari & elephant camp feeding center. Best time for spotting game is in the evening / at night. Keep your distance from all animals and respect their space. Don't shine your lights or click pictures with flash at wild elephants/animals at night. There's a road a little off Masinagudi and towards Moyar that is great for viewing wildlife.” Read Full Review

You can't find a better place to go to which is so easily approachable, enjoyable and affordable in all respects....This tiny Raj-era retreat of Mashobra, hidden among cluster of pines and oaks, was the first choice of British officials and their families who wanted proximity as well as privacy away from the summer capital, Shimla. HolidayIQ Reviewer shijy koshy says, “Unlike most popular destinations like Munnar, Thekkady, Kodaikanal or even Ooty, this place isn't over populated/commercialized. There are a few good bungalows and resorts where you could stay. This place will be ideal for everyone, especially honeymooners on a budget. The best time to visit this place would be ideally after monsoon till end of spring. A few must-visit places include, Nirar Dam & reservoir with 2 good waterfalls which is a few kms away, Balaji Temple and the waterfalls close to it, Sholayar Dam, Monkey Falls - Mystic Falls - Aliyar Dam view point (Loam's view point - Enroute to Pollachi from Valparai). Even the great Athirapally Falls and Vazhachal Falls are just 60-70 odd kms from Valparai. One should stay for at least 2 -3 days to really take out the best of this destination.” Read Full Review
