Lake | Boating | Dam | Nature

HolidayIQ Reviewer Dipanjan . adds, “Great place for speed boat ride This Dam is Asia's 2nd largest place.... Once you reach the spot there's a huge lake on side of which a park is made, where you can take Horse ride or enjoy the swing, which are hanged in huge trees and looks very natural. There's also a Fish spa and a small nursery where you can buy variety of plants. The main attraction of this place is the joy ride on the speed boat. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Akber sait adds, “Covered with verdant hills and romantic atmosphere There's no chill in the weather, no mist on the peaks and no hordes of tourists. That about sums up the difference between the expansive Pookat lake and its famed counterpart in Ooty. Otherwise, you could mistake one for the other. Pookat too is hemmed in on three sides by green verdant hills and lies sprawled across a valley disappearing around a hill. The atmosphere is mellow and romantic. ” Read Full Review

It's better to take the first ride at 7. 30 am or the last at 3 pm. If you are lucky enough, you may see some animals. Bird watchers and nature lovers can enjoy this ride. The lake is surrounded by dense forest which has a diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty. The morning view of the lake is awesome. ” Read Full Review

It's a paradise for the migratory birds in Winter. We saw lots of magnificent birds which you can only find in books or calendar. It's an amazing experience friends, taking closest photograph of birds, capturing their flights, bath, feeding and many other things like listening different calls and distinguishing birds by their names. All thanks goes to Atanu da and mostly Samir Saha who inspired me to go to Mangalajodi. ” Read Full Review

It is said that the ruler of Rajbagh lake is ruler of the whole Tiger Reserve. But, Malik Talao is no less by any means. This lake is situated in the Zone 4 of the reserve. Whilst on the trail in Zone 4 along the periphery of this lake we saw alligators lying at the edges along with deers, sambhars, langurs & the famous tree pie bird. ” Read Full Review

Monkeys are a lot by the fort and very aggressive too while offering food. Many lakes are there on the fort which provided a great relaxing place. Nice place to spend 3 hrs, enjoying the views on both sides of the fort. ” Read Full Review
