HolidayIQ reviewer Sunil talks about the Tawang Monastery, "It's totally worth a visit. One going there has a chance to see a monastery which is 400 years old. In fact, the largest one in India. One gets to know the lifestyle of the students and the monks out there. I was stunned by the colourful surroundings. The Buddha Statue is almost 2-storey high, indeed a masterpiece. I suggest visiting in the morning, when one can listen to the prayer sung by the monks and the usage of distinct traditional Buddhist musical instruments."

HolidayIQ Suggestion: P.T Tso Lake, Tawang War Memorial, Sela Pass and Lake are must-visits.
