The temple is shaped like a gigantic chariot along with carved wheels and pillars. It is a UNESCO world heritage. I have visited this place twice. Since we were little short of time we took a taxi to Galu Temple (2115 meters) which is at the base of the ascent. ...The second part of the trek was little difficult with the slope increasing gradually. There was this last stretch of the trail leading up to Triund where the slope was very steep...Woke up early. Had a walk on Triund Ridge. Took photographs. Had tea and bread - omelet in the breakfast. Saw the sunrise (at around 7 am! ) and started walking back for McLeodganj.Read Full Review
