HolidayIQ Reviewer Saurabh Gupta adds, “Gir is home to Asiatic lions and numerous other animals and birds. Lions are the major attractions of the jungle. Gir Jungle is popular and well maintained place in Junagadh District of Gujarat ...Surroundings are quiet and noise of birds and animals including lion are very clearly heard. We can also see lions nearby very easily. Besides lions, the park is home to many different types of Deer, Antelopes, Monkeys, Panthers, Blackbuck, Jackals, foxes, A Wild Boar, Leopard and birds like Indian Pond Heron, Egret, Kingfisher, Owl etc. Altogether it was a very good close look at the royal animal in their natural habitat. ”

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rahil Shah adds, “Good adventurous place to stay in Sasan gir ...here will be a driver and a guide coming along with you in a open jeep for a ride of round about 30 kms for three hours. The probability of lion sighting is normally 50% but jungle on the way is very dense and you may be able to see deer, peacock and so many other birds.”

HolidayIQ Reviewer Tushar Bhutani shares, “Jim Corbett is an amazing place to relax and recreate if you are looking for a short break from your busy and hectic city schedule. The feeling of staying near to a forest area gives the much needed peace and break from the hus hus city life. ...Jungle safari in the jeeps is a must do along with other attractions like Elephant safari near the river banks, bird watching and other outdoor activities like Rappelling, Rock climbing etc.”

HolidayIQ Reviewer Ritu Parna adds, “Unwind yourself by getting into the wild Located at almost a distance of 250 km, Corbett could be one of the best weekend getaway. To book a safari online, one has to go through the procedure 30-45 days in advance. Taking a safari in the early morning is one of the best option to not miss spotting animals. Don't forget to carry a camera. One can rent a binocular from the entry gate. You can either take a gypsy safari or a cantar safari depending on the time you have in hand.”

If you are a wildlife photographer to take Jeep and ready with all camera gear.”

HolidayIQ Reviewer Yashraj Shah shares, “On the way back we visited Gopalswamy Betta which is a temple of Lord Krishna up on a mountain. Excellent view of the mountains from the temple. You should plan for the trip in advance & try to get a chance for a safari in open jeep. It is unforgettable when you are just going around & see so much wildlife.” HolidayIQ

Reviewer Vaidhinathan Srinivasan shares, “Must visit once to experience the safari Though a Tiger safari we could not sight a Tiger. But the safari experience was good as the safari canter was good. The drivers were well informed and were nice and cooperative. We could see spotted Deers, Langurs, Peafowls, Jungle Fowls, many bird species etc. I recommend people go for at least 4 to 5 safaris to have a chance for sighting of big Cats.”

Jeep safari and Elephant safari is good. Guards working hard to please the guest and tourist. ...With family come at morning and enjoy the beauty of nature. ”

HolidayIQ Reviewer giridhar giridhar adds, “ We did see rhinoceros at several spots and our safari driver told us that on some days, tourists end up getting bored seeing huge number of rhinos in a visit. Other animals like the tiger are elusive and one is lucky to spot one during a quick visit. The ecosystem is a swampy marshy one that supports varied kind of vegetation and through it the birds and animals. There are numerous water bodies inside, which are good places for bird watching as also spotting elephants and rhinoceros.”

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rabi Sankar De says, “The arrangement of safari by gypsy was good and I took three safari in two days. I found Chital deers, Sambars, a few Nilgui(Indian largest antelope Blue bull), a good number of wild boars, jackals on the very first day. Even I found an elusive jungle cat in the evening safari but no tigers or leopards. On the second day and in our last safari, lady luck smiled on me and I and my family sighted a tiger on the other side of the river 'Ken', while it was drinking water. During these safaris, we found some exclusive birds as the Crested Serpent eagle, Changeable Hawk Eagle, Honey bazard, one Monitor lizard and smaller birds like Blue jay, sterling, parakeets, tree pie, lots of jungle babblers and many more. On the last safari, just before our exit, a pair of Gaurs(Indian Bison) was found. This was the icing on the cake for our Pench trip. Our cup of joy was full, our stay in the Garden safari resort was very satisfying and the quality of food there was pretty good.”
