Staying in dunes is very unique experience one can have, in evening you can enjoy traditional dance and music. ...I would suggest you to go for desert night under the stars where you will be staying in one of such dunes without any tent, camp or room just under the stars your bed will be. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Smriti Das adds, “Wonderful adventure at night stay in tent ...we crossed Lachulung La pass (16616 ft) after that we crossed probably 58 km path to reach Sarchu Valley. It is a major halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway. It is situated between Baralacha La to the south and Lachulung La to the north, at an altitude of 14070 ft. On arrival at Sarchu Valley at around 4 pm our night halt over there in a tent (Planet Himalaya). After reaching there they served us tea & biscuits and informed us that they will serve us dinner at 7 pm because there is no electricity & they produce electricity by generator only for three hours. It was a nice adventure in tent. ” Read Full Review

Beach | Sea | Sunset | Peace

HolidayIQ Reviewer satpaphy m adds, “There were few travellers who had pitched tents ... which I found a nice idea....Om Beach is about 6 Km from Gokarna Town. Take a left turn immediately after the check post before entering the town. Stock up well of your daily needs (toiletries, fruits, etc. ) as you won't get any thing on the Om Beach. It's worth a visit unless you are looking for lot of water activities (though limited facilities such as water scooter, kayak, boat ride, etc are available).” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Saumarjyoti Borah shares, “During night when all people went to sleep, we came out for night sky photography. If you are lucky you would definitely see a clear sky with all shining stars. Though we don't waste our time sleeping inside the tent but after around 45-50 mins the cold wind literally forced us to go inside and close the adventure for that night. Morning the sunrise was awesome. You will experience the fresh sun rays touching your face and real panoramic view of mountain with blue waters of the Pangong.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Mohini Joshi shares, “We stayed in tents right by the lake, which was awesome. Of course it was extremely cold after sundown and we were nearly freezing in spite of all the warm blankets provided to us. This is when a nice campfire comes in handy - some of our riders did enjoy that, but we were nicely tucked in and didn't dare to go out in the cold.” Read Full Review
