1. Learn to make cheese while you relax in the rolling hills in Coorg

Suchismita Das: Visiting and staying at Acres Wild was a "dream come true" experience for me! I was taken by surprise by the warm bonhomie, good companions, marvellous food and the sylvan/idyllic surroundings. I took a dive in the quaint little pond on the property and had a wonderful swim. Though desolate, but incorrigibly natural and ethereal in its beauty, the different cottages, straight out of fairy tales, and named after different kinds of cheese are excellent! Rustic and wild, yet with all the modern day facilities, this property's a loner's paradise. Acres Wild with its distinctly flavoured different kinds of cheese, served fresh every morning at breakfast, along with the ambience makes life worth living.

Acres Wild farmhouse in Coorg throws you deep into the wild. With every urban comfort. And cheese!!

2. Where you can hear the sounds of silence

Dr. Arjun Arya: The place is ideal for a resort surrounded by mountains on all sides and a deep valley located at a good height on the way to Naldehra. The best part was the silence of the hills where one can relax and rejuvenate.

Pamper yourself silly at Marigold Sarovar Portico.

Crave adrenaline without the scorching summer heat? Naukuchiatal is just fantastic for thrilling but safe glides. Carry that camera for your perfect instagram picture!

Apoorv Joshi: A perfect tourist destination for all hill station lovers. Great place for adventure and relaxing as well. Best part is, this small hill station is not so crowded as compared to its neighbours (Nainital and Bhimtal), which makes it a perfect one.

Megha Jaiswal: I had a life time experience of paragliding for 30 minutes at Naukuchiatal

4. Fresh Darjeeling tea straight from the hills

This is classic British Raj stuff stunningly set before incredible Himalayan views. Tiger Hill has a view of the Kanchendzonga that makes people gasp. A pot of Darjeeling tea in the balcony, a book and you'll forget it's 2016.

Gautam Biswas stayed at the Glenburn Estate: The appearance of hotel kind of reminds you the British Era, the interior, furnitures and everything. The view around here is just breathtaking. You can even try out different kind of teas that are grown here. Must stay here if you ever go to Darjeeling.

Nothing has changed here. In 300 years.

Vipin: The drive to Milam village offers the view of lovely snow-clad mountains, deep valleys, a variety of trees-pine, bamboo, birds, numerous waterfalls etc. It is truly panoramic.” At an altitude of 4267 mt, and spread of around 37 sq km, it is the mighty Milam glacier that makes for a perfect trail for trekking. The Milam Glacier trek is a moderate trekking experience in India that can be covered between 12-13 days.

6. Take a dip in sparkling lakes and dams of Idukki

Houseboats are good, but secret hill tops and stunning landscapes are way better. Idduki is a not a popular destination in Kerala. That is exactly why you should be there. You'll never want to leave, promise!

Amal: It was the best trip I ever had. It had verdant hills, sparkling streams, large lakes teeming with fish and subtle sanctuaries. Idukki district of Kerala perhaps, offers the best for adventure travellers. Great climate, great food and friendly people. It was an awesome place.

7. Drive through the twisty-turny roads in the gorgeous Himalayas in Sikkim

Sivam Gupta: Sikkim is beautiful. Its famous attractions are the grand Himalayan views, great Indo-China Border, the frozen lakes, trimmed trees and wonderful landscapes.

The enthralling hike to meet the Gods residing in Amarnath, Jammu & Kashmir will hold you to the ground with tears of joy in your eyes. Maybe, witnessing those views is what our ancestors referred to as 'meeting the gods.

Subbu stayed at Glacier Heights: Sonamarg is the best and beautiful place to visit for scenic beauty. Just 5 km from here, Neelgrath is located. Helicopter to Amarnath starts from here. People who wish to go by walk or horse to Amarnath should start from Baltal which is near to Sonamarg. Hotel Glacier Heights is located in the city center with beautiful rooms and service. It's an excellent stay. Happy to be here.

It's time to visit God.
