HolidayIQ Reviewer Raj Beniwal shares, “A place worth visiting for jungle safari Sariska Tiger Reserve, near Alwar in Rajasthan, is the place worth visiting. You can reach there easily either from Delhi via Alwar (around 200 km from Delhi and around 40 km from Alwar) or from Jaipur which is around 120 km from Sariska (via Dausa). One should also visit Bhangarh, the most Haunted City Ruins of India en route Sariska. Bhangarh is around 90 km from Jaipur. Just took the Jeep safari at Sariska and enjoyed the wilderness of Sariska for the next three hours. It's jaw-droppingly beautiful and full of Deers, Monkeys, Boars, Peacocks, and if luck smiles on you, you can meet the Royal Bengal Tiger ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Abhijit Gupta shares, “A Place for jungle safari: Gorumara National Park is a reserve forest and has been declared as a wildlife sanctuary by the government. The park is located at Dooars region of North Bengal at the foothills of the Himalayan range. Lataguri is the gateway to the forest and the nearest railway station is Maynaguri and New Mal junction. Murti being a hot spot for tourists, I would suggest travellers visit Gorumara Park via New Mal junction station and spend one or 2 days in Murti before they visit the national park. There is taxi service from the stations up to Murti and Lataguri. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Saurabh Kumar adds, “It is a nice place for trekkers. It is a very mild gradient with a small waterfall on the way and camping options at the top. We took a guide who setup tents at the top. Yu can reach the top, have liquor and come down. There is a temple at the top and no other major facilities. So watch the morning sunrise. Not suitable for families. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Monica Rai shares, “An African jungle safari Experience in India! It is like none other in its natural beauty. The Ken River which flows across the forest is a natural wonder and is breathtaking too. It besieges a plethora of fauna and flora. The wildlife is vulnerable yet untouched by the effects of modern civilization, in complete harmony with nature's balance. The topography of the forest changes from region to region. It sometimes appears like the Savanna in Africa and like the Amazon on the other. The crocodiles in their unique environment display acts of amusement and fury. I have been a witness to nature’s miracles myself in this park, some stories that I recount to kids a number of times! ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer SANDIPAN PANDA says, “This was my first jungle safari in life along with my friends. It has two entrances: one is Pithabhata, another is Jashipur. We stayed in Baripada which is 22 km from Pithabhata. Baripada is a nice town. We stayed in Hotel Ambika – the hotel is an OK type but the restaurant is nice. It is situated in a great location. We visited in early March. Usually there is a rush between December and January. We were the only travellers on that day. As per the rules, they allow only 20 cars a day from each gate. A few times they allow more). We were unable to find any tiger.” Read Full Review

Chilapata is a place where one can stay for 10 days and it won't be monotonous. I feel if one has to enjoy Dooars, one can stay in the Jungle Camp where food and lodging is excellent. The manager is extremely helpful and cordial. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Sudipta Nandy shares, “The best attraction of any National park is the jungle safari and in Kanha, you have got plenty of opportunities for that. Although the elephant safaris are banned in Kanha, the jeep safari is equally thrilling. Kanha National park has got 4 tourist zones for visitors and it is recommended that you opt for all the zones, i.e Kanha, Mukki, Kisli and Sarhi as all the zones hide some specialities for any nature lovers. Kanha is the premium zone and you need to pay additional Rs. 500/- for the entry ticket of this zone. It is advised that you collect the entry tickets online for all zones in advance as the counter tickets are very limited and you may have to stand in long queue to get those.” Read Full Review
