Soumik: Staying in the middle of the forest is an awesome experience. The Forest Never Sleeps !!!A walk through the forest at night is very thrilling, feels like a blanket of darkness covering you all around. The silence around has its own way to communicate. The sound of the bugs and insects gives a chill. Keep watch around and be careful where you place your step. Its dangerous but still the experience is awesome !!

2. Bylakuppe

ArshAQ: When you enter the Bylakuppe region you feel like you have entered a different county. It has an amazing spark as you can find the Tibet flags and Buddhist monks everywhere. There is no entrance fees for the Golden Temple but you have to pay for parking. In the meantime time try momo's a traditional food of Tibet which is excellent. You get momo's of both veg and non-veg. Bylakuppe is also of shopping area but shopping near the Golden Temple are very expensive. So I would suggest the tourists to visit the first camp (it's the name of camp).

Anooj: We had a trip to Gavi recently. If you want to be away from the madding crowd and unwind yourself under the canopy of tropical wet ever green forests, we strongly recommend Gavi in Idukki District in Kerala. In Gavi you can fill your lungs with fresh air which is saturated with the aroma of cardomom, can cool-off in the pristine chilly waters,or simply relax under the forest canopy watching 'Nilgiri langurs' performing acrobatics.Unlike other tourist destinations in India here nobody will stare at you except wild animals and birds. Your cell phone will not wake you up from your trance( there is no mobile coverage). Definitely 'Gavi' will rejuvenate your body and mind.

4. Honnemardu

Renu: This is a place which is very scenic and a good picnic spot for a day. It's surrounded by back waters of linganamakki and stunning land scape. Its very dangerous for the swimmers and should not take any chance for adventurous activities. Its always better to have people or guide with us who knows about the place well and its away from most of the facilities.

Soumyajit: Nice getaway near Bangalore on the NH 7 highway. Its an archaeological marvel with the big bull and the Veerbhadra temple. The temperature is quite hot so its best to avoid summers as it might get very difficult to walk in bare foot over the stones.

The Calicut beach is a worthy place to visit. There are many restaurants offering Arabic cuisine. You can try out the food, if you are a foodie!
