A peninsula with a gigantic basaltic monolith that goes upto about 500 metres in height, this is one of the most beautiful World Heritage Sites in mauritius. You can also see one of the rarest illusions (of a waterfall in the ocean) from an aerial vantage point- preferably a helicopter.

One of the rare places with water so clear, you can actually see the ocean bed near the beaches. A full day catamaran cruise is something this place offers and cutting through clear turquoise water is surely not an everyday experience.
