Sanjay Agarwal: The hotel is a good stay option in Majuli to experience the beauty of the place. I would recommend staying in the hotel. If you want to explore the historic and cultural heritage of assam this is one of the best stays. It is not very expensive.

Find out what you can do apart from the cultural activities here.

2. Experience the pulse of modern Shillong at Café Shillong Bed and Breakfast, Shillong

Rony D'coasta : The stay in Shillong was to explore the city and cafe Shillong was at the perfect location. Away from the noisy center of police bazaar but yet close enough to walk there whenever you feel like. The rooms are well kept. The breakfast is a good spread of Indian and continental. Since its a b and b lunch and dinner is not served but you can order from their own restaurant which goes by the same name. The in house host ratneshwar takes good care of the guests helping them to arrange car for local sightseeing.

Vani : It was a two day stay at the homestay and we enjoyed it very much. If you love adventure and not the person who looks for luxury, this is a perfect place to experience nature and hospitality by a family. The owner, Shiva and Radha took good care of us. The place is all naturally built and the food is also good. My husband loved the momos prepared by Radha.
