HolidayIQ Reviewer Vivek Soni says, “The first point you should stop at is "Magic View" chai shop. The view from there is truly breathtaking amidst the thick clouds and the deep valleys. Make sure to make arrangements for camping tents and sleeping mats from 'Manu' - he lives on the top and handles all these matters. If you have time, definitely spend a night on top, light up a campfire and make it memorable. It can get really chilly at night (Oct-March) - stay warm. Do not litter on your way up, keep the trek green and clean. Be careful while trekking as you might find loose gravel on the way and it can get really slippery. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer A S adds, “We stayed right at the valley for two nights - did camping. At the base of the valley, there is a huge ground where had pitched our tents. An extremely exotic place, it is one of the most beautiful valleys, surrounded by huge mountains on the way to Rohtang pass. This was the first time in my life where I did paragliding; we took the entire glider up the hill to the valley is like a giant slope of the ground. We went on the top and then ran with a glider and jumped - and you are right there in the air flying all over the valley; a once in a lifetime experience.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Jai Bharathi shares, “The Highest Peak with Heart shaped Lake on top: Get ready for a tiresome trek to the top of the peak. Please carry water and snacks as nothing is available at the peak. Night camping is not allowed and hence plan to get back to the base by evening. One has to visit this peak along with a local guide provided by the Tourist office located at the base. Trek time average 2 hours to climb up and same to come back. The trek up is totally worth after reaching the lake which is in the shape of a heart. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Anshul Karwa adds, “One of the unexplored or unvisited places in Ooty: Emerald lake is around 20 km from Ooty and is a really good place for a picnic or even to do camping overnight. It is very refreshing and a good place to hang out. It is not visited often by the tourists, so it remains clean till now. Enjoy the scenic view here and click a lot of pictures; visit here in rainy season and you'll find more greenery. Sunrise and sunset both are the best time to visit but I recommend sunrise as after sunset there might be a chance of wild animals while going back to Ooty. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Santosh Sinha says, “The meeting point of the Chandra and Bhaga River One of the most awesome places in the world, it is the best place for camping, rafting, and water sports. You can easily take a horse for a local ride. Murkila Mountain is near this place for mountaineering; food and beverage are available here. The meet point of the Chandra and Bhaga River is so attractive you can't begin to imagine their beauty if you don’t visit this place. You must visit the locals and their houses too to learn how they live in this beautiful place. Their tradition is very rich and I love their hospitality. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Utsav Agrawal adds, “Feel the clouds near you: Top Station, as the name suggests, is the top most point in Munnar. It actually comes in Theni district of Tamil Nadu. The view is awesome from the two points made for photography. They have camping facilities also. There are many steps cut into the mountain to reach the viewpoint which may not be comfortable for people with knee problems. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rizwanuddin Rafiq says, “This is the only one of the oldest golf courses with natural landscaping situated at an altitude of 2200 meters. It is a par 68, 18-hole course with 16 greens and 18 tees and has a design reminiscent of Scottish links courses. This golf course is situated 22 km away from Shimla, and it was built by Lord Curzon, as he was caught up by the beauty of place; also, it was his favourite camping site under the Himalayan Cedars. The early 19th century it started from 9 holes and expanded to 18 holes later, this now under Himachal Tourism. One must visit and with the help of horse rides, the surroundings can be enjoyed.” Read Full Review
