The cricket stadium doesn't need a mention here because obviously that is where you are headed. You can visit the rock gargen and Manasa Devi temple as well while you are here.

Subramanyam adds, "Well maintained rooms for stay, right on the main road. The staff are well-behaved and provide good hospitality. Few blocks away there good restaurants and cafe shops to hang out for coffee."

Chandigarh is known for being a superbly planned city. From the rock garden to the Sukhna lake there is quite a lot to do.

Siddharth Thakur says, "It's a very nice tourist place. I liked the cactus garden most. Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There are a lot of things to shop. Hotels are nice. Pradeep Kumar stayed at the Taj Chandigarh and adds, "It's a dream that come true. And moreover it's centrally located. Walking distance is 17 market."

Your trip won't be complete without going to Panchkula. From the deer park to all the temples, this place is great if you are in a pious mood!

Vikas Pandey has some tips, "Panchkula is a very historical place, like temples , nature. Over all panchkula is a well planned city."

While you are here stay at the Holiday Inn. Bhanu Pratap a HolidayIQ traveller who stayed here says, "The hotel is very good and nicely maintained. The food especially the breakfast was excellent. The stay was pleasant with all the facilities upto the mark. Overall, it was a value for money and would definitely look forward to stay in near future. The location was also fairly decent and situated bit on outskirts away from city hassle."
