Arrive at Mcleodganj - A place synonymous with Tibetian culture and some of the most friendly people around. Stroll down the town and visit the St. John's Church where you can marvel the architecture and the scenic surroundings. Relax at one of the cafes in town and get chatty with the locals

Visit the village of Bhagsu, a little up north from Mcleodganj where you walk along the steep slopes and narrow lanes, with colourful open-air resto bars and serve you your choice of brew along with 70s rock 'n' roll, Israeli and Continental cuisine, that taste good enough to want to settle down there

After a 4 hour drive from Mcleodganj, arrive at Barot, a beautiful valley of the River Uhl and surrounded forests of the Nargu Wild Life Sanctuary. Visit the Barot dam and the Joginder Nagar Hydel Power Project. An evening bonfire in the natural paradise is a treat.

Spend the day exploring the flora fauna around Barot with a local guide. The forests here are home to some spectacular wildlife and with a good tracker, you will surely be in for a lucky adventure. Try your hand at angling in the waters of Uhl.

Shoja is about a 6-hour drive from Barot. The place is surrounding by forests and waterfalls, all having scenic paths which are a must-hike when your here. 

Day 6. Trek to the Jalori Pass

Wake up early and trek scenic trails and pristine wilderness to Jalori Pass. A further 6 km trek brings you to the beautiful Serolsar lake, the 360-degree view of the Himalayas from here is spectacular. Make sure to carry supplies and have a lunch barbeque here before trekking back to Shoja

Day 7. Drive back to Shimla and head home
