HolidayIQ Traveller A.S. shares, “This is where the Ganges River originates and it is called Bhagirathi in that region. We began our 19 km-long trek from Gangotri and by the evening, we managed to reach a place called Chirwasa - its place at Bhagirathi Valley. During the night, it got really cold and we could see some of the most reputed peaks of the country - Gangotri 1, 2, 3 and Bhagirathi 1, 2, 3 and icing of the cake, glowing like a crown, was the Shivling Peak. Next day, we started early morning to reach Gaumukh. On the way, we experienced a 500 metre-long landslide prone area where we had to run and cross missing the falling stones. Finally, in a few hours, we reached Gangotri. Trust me guys, I have never seen something so beautiful. This time we were not seeing a mountain covered with ice; this time it was mountain of ice and my first-ever glacier experience - it was simply jaw-dropping beauty. That feeling of seeing origin of India's longest river. Like everyone else even I got a bottle of pure Ganga water home. Worth every step we took in 19km long trek. Life time opportunity.”

Sit back, relsx and contemplate about life events and clear the unnecessary clutter in your head while you sip on your favourite drink at this beautiful beach.

HolidayIQ Traveller Salma S shares, “Palolem is a laid back calm and serene beach in southern Goa, which is very different from the other beaches with calm waves away from the hustle bustle of the city. Also no interference from any kind of commercial water sports like motor boats, jet ski etc. People are really hospitable and night life is decent enough to enjoy. Most of the crowd is foreigner's and the beach is very clean. I would say your journey to Goa is not complete without visiting Palolem beach.“
