It was just as pleasant as watching the reflection of moon shedding within the clouds in water. You may call it off season but it was on. The beauty was completely on its nerves and I was taking a 360 degree every time to capture every frame. My camera lenses enjoyed it more than any eagle.”

The destination is famous for National skiing championship every year and obviously for it's beauty. Two times i have been there. Auli one can go by two way one is by ropeway and other one is by Road. When i had been first times, we reached Joshimath while coming back from Badrinath. We purchased tickets and reached by ropeway. You can visit from Joshimath by Ropeway if you are looking to visit Auli. It will take 20 Minute to be there. And other option is to make a plan to stay there. It is 14 km from joshimath by road. My experience of staying there was good one. We stayed at GMVN resort. Nice property of Garhwal mandal vikas nigam. You will see views of Himalayan mountain range from Auli. And Auli itself a beautiful destination as well as one of the famous ski destination in India. You can see Elephant Mountain too from Joshimath and Auli.
