Our sixth day on The Golden Chariot was comparatively relaxed as we went on a tour of Old Goa in the first half of the day and then to the Zuri White Sands resort in Varca to relax.

Old Goa is a testimony to the fact that Goa is not all about beaches and chilling out. Brilliant examples of Portuguese architecture dazzle you with the intricacy of details. If you love colonial architecture and history, this is the place to be. Don't believe us, see for yourself!

We started our day with the beautiful Se Cathedral.

We then moved on to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which is one of Old Goa's prime attractions.

Relishing a well-deserved break at Zuri White Sands in Varca beach.

HolidayIQ reviewer Shailesh K says, "Visited the most famous Church with family, and was impressed with its beauty and well-preserved interiors. The Church is famous for the preserved body of St. Francis Xavier. Attached to the Church is a small art gallery displaying the painting, photos and artifacts of the place.
Adds HolidayIQ reviewer Baadal, "Wonderful place to visit and have a historical experience. Mostly tourist visit to see Mummy of St. XAVIER'S, also has a museum on first floor, can click pics and shoot videos."
HolidayIQ reviewer Prakash says, "The olden days epic sculpture! Lovely place and the peaceful place to be in! Had been with school friends and enjoyed it! All the memories of St. Basilica are available for the sight."
