HolidayIQ Traveller Vaishali Kanojia from Delhi says, “It's a great destination to plan your vacation if you looking for peace, fun and adventure. The calmness of the mountains and its beauty just captures your soul. There is an adventure park too. A great place for kids to hang out and have fun. It's thrilling to go on a giant wheel at top of the mountain. There is a temple with 100 steps situated at top. The scenery lets you experience its beauty. Shimla is not far from here. Kufri is a place more beautiful and peaceful from the crowded Shimla.”

2. Gulmarg

HolidayIQ Traveller Rachita Biswas from Kolkata says, “I had never visited any hill station covered with such amount of snow. Truly justified with the saying "Heaven on Earth". Gulmarg is perfect pallet of bliss and solitude. There is a golf course also located here. However, the main attraction here is the Gondola cable car. There are two levels. Make sure to take both the levels. The second level takes you to more than 4000 m altitude. Both the view from that height and the Gondola ride are breathtaking.”

3. Sonamarg

HolidayIQ Traveller Priyam Mondal says, “Sonamarg is a very lovely place especially for the newly married couple. It is located at a distance of 56 km from Srinagar. There are many snow peaked mountains in the area which everyone would love it. There are very few hotels at there as the place is not so crowded. So if you want to stay there then advance booking of the hotel would be a better option.”

4. Pahalgam

HolidayIQ Traveller Aditya Mandloi from Indore says, “I found Pahalgam as the most beautiful, spiritual and relaxing place as compared to Srinagar, Gulmarg and Sonamarg. It has the mountains, river, valleys, good hotels and what else one needs? I truly would like to visit the place again. It's a bit crowded on weekends due to local tourists and hence please take atleast 2 to 3 days for the place else you won't be able to enjoy it to the fullest. River rafting was also an overall a different experience.”

5. Auli

HolidayIQ Traveller Siddhartha Mohta says, “Auli certainly provides the best skiing and snowboarding experience in India, Nestled between beautiful Nanda Devi, it gives an amazing 270 degrees view. This place is kinda remote, but all efforts to reach the place is worth it, prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering its remoteness i have no complaints. One can see a lot of folks from defence here, apart from skiing, one can go for beautiful treks. In Feb the temp reached -10 and it was a real good experience. A highly recommended place for travel enthusiasts.”

6. Manali

HolidayIQ Traveller Shah Dura from Surat says, “We went to Manali in March end. Superb weather this time of the year. You feel being with nature. Such good place as Solang Valley gives pleasure of being in snow surrounded by trees and also good place for adventure sports in snow. Special attraction for me was way to Rohtang Pass, not the destination but all the way to reach there. Happened to meet some great local people, who made me want to go there again. If anyone planning to go there, I suggest at least four days to stay.”

7. Munsiyari

HolidayIQ Traveller Milan Roy says, “The overall experience in Munsiyari was very nice. The place had a unique scenic beauty and one can travel all day around the city seeing the natural beauty. The sunrise and sunset in the mountains was particularly good. Other notable places are Nanda Devi Temple, Kalmunai, Thamrikund Park and some other viewpoint.”
