A small village in the Aravalli range, nestled in between Udaipur and Jodhpur, Ranakpur is known for a large Jain Temple, which is one of the most important Jain temples in the country. Kids might love to visit the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary.

HolidayIQ reviewer Shivam Gupta says, "I went to Ranakpur with my family and friends. Nearest railway station is Falna (30 km). People mainly come here to visit the Jain Temple. The grandiose and the architecture is simply stunning. Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is nearby and they offer jeep safaris. Nice place to go with the family."

The town of Mahabalipuram is beyond surreal. The golden coloured temple against the brilliant blue skies is a striking scene. It is the only surviving remnant of 7 such temples and a UNESCO world heritage site. Others are submerged under the sea. Kids would love climbing up the rocks and explore the cave temples, all in the vicinity.

Tawang is one of the most beautiful places in Arunachal Pradesh. Colourful and mystical, the monastery is the most significant stop in the area. Nagula Lake is a great scenic viewpoint that even children would love to witness. Also, your kids might find new friends in the company of various monk kids in the area.

Amarnath is among the most sacred pilgrim sites in the entire subcontinent. The legend goes that Lord Shiva was asked by Parvati to tell her the secret of immortality. He resisted for a long time until he gave in. In order to maintain the secret from any form of life on earth, he chose this isolated place.

Hemkund is popular for Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, which is said to be the location where the tenth Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh, had meditated. Popular attractions include the seven peaks, also known by the name of Sapt Shring that is surrounded by green pastures. Kids would love to play around here after the darshan.
