One of the prime winter adventure sports destinations in the country, Auli is a place you shouldn't miss this season.

HolidayIQ Traveler Siddhartha Mohta says, “Auli certainly provides the best skiing and snowboarding experience in India. Nestled between beautiful Nanda Devi, it gives an amazing 270-degree view. This place is kind of remote, but all efforts to reach the place is worth it. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering its remoteness, I have no complaints. One can see a lot of folks from defence here. Apart from skiing, one can go for beautiful treks. In February the temp reached -10 and it was a real good experience. A highly recommended place for travel enthusiasts.”

2. Gulmarg

HolidayIQ Traveller Palak says, "Have you ever seen heaven? Yes.. I have seen a glimpse, in my journey to Gulmarg. Before reaching the the cliff, its all green and water. But after reaching to 13, 000 ft. Approx, it is pure white. Yes, it was the first time I have experienced pure white snow."

3. Drass

4. Gurudongmar Lake

To reach the place, we have to halt in Lachen for night. The travelling from Gangtok is bit hectic but with superb views on the way.

6. Kufri
