HolidayIQ Reviewer Rishabh Verma says, “Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan is a very big zoo with many animals, fishes and birds. It has a big lake in the middle where you can do boating. The entry fee is Rs. 25 for an adult which is totally paisa vasool. It is approachable by autos and buses from various locations like Patna junction, Ashiana, Boring Road, Saguna more, etc. Animals like Tiger, Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Alligator, Tortoise, Snake, Crocodile, Cheetah, Elephant, Rhinoceros, etc. Definitely visit if you are in Patna. There is a restaurant inside which caters to your hunger. There is a Rose garden which has different species of Roses and a small amusement park for kids.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer A S adds, “There isn't any official organization that organizes the treks but you can always find someone or the other. Durgam Cheruvu in itself means Secret Lake. Once upon a time this area was covered with trees, therefore the lake was hidden. But now there is Inorbit Mall right next to it. If you want, you can also spend a leisurely evening on the open sitting area in the malls itself which is facing this lake. And if you are really too enthusiastic about the lake itself then there is provision of boating as well. Neither the lake nor the boating service is well maintained therefore do it at your own risk.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Bhaskar Ghosh says, “Please go there by January or February. It is the best time to visit. You can feel Ladakh in some places. Trust me the view is amazing. You can enjoy boating and do some excavation on a small island for a treasure hunt (LOL). And one thing I already forgot to mention is that you can enjoy small trekking to small hills. You must go there. It is one of the best picnics we’ve had and a really enjoyable spot.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Arunav Singh says, “The falls then lead to a valley-like passage for the river and on both sides of the river is marble. There are all kinds of marble; Red, Pink, Green, Blue etc and the marble was also taken to Agra for the construction of the Taj Mahal. Get lost in the natural beauty of the river and the Marble stone and enjoy your time boating, bathing, and clicking awesome snaps or just laze around in the market and get some souvenir for your friends and family. You can get shells engraved with your name or marble cut and designed beautifully in your name ;) The best place to visit in Jabalpur for sure. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer J Mohan adds, “An awesome place for sightseeing and enjoying the waterfalls It is an amazing waterfall. The best part is getting down and climbing the falls through some 1000 steps. Water is also good and you can take bath. The best time is between Aug-Feb. Old people or people with problems in leg should excuse themselves from this. You can see amazing views of the hills while climbing up and down. There is one Shiva Temple before entering the falls. Food: It is not a great place to have food. There are no proper hotels nearby. But carry your own food items. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Trevor Saldanha says, “It is high up in the mountains, the weather is very cool as you are virtually in the middle of the clouds. The air is fresh and clean, the views are fantastic and the numerous waterfalls are breathtaking You need to have your own vehicle there, so it is best to drive down via the Eastern Express Highway to Thane and then from there on the Mumbai-Nasik Highway. Turn off after Bhiwandi Naka and go via Kalyan and Murbad all the way to Malshej Ghats. The roads are narrow but good and the drive takes about 3-3.5 hours, depending on the traffic. It is best to go there when the Monsoons have fully set in and it has been raining heavily for at least a month or so. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Anant Jain shares, “The lake is very nice. The area is under the control of armed forces. This lake is very deep and you are not allowed to go in it or do boating, etc. The view is amazing and the scene looks beautiful. Most of the hotels arrange a bonfire near the lake and you may spend a day there. Nice area for photoshoots. You may definitely add it in your itinerary if you are visiting Leh and have 2 days to spare.” Read Full Review
