The Blue Lassi in Varanasi has achieved a cult status not only with Indians but also among Korean and Japanese travel communities. The next time you are here, do not be surprised to find yourself shoulder to shoulder on the two small wooden benches with plenty of these foreigners. They serve 75 varieties of lassi – each one made fresh by hand right in front of you – with plenty of opportunity to mix and match to create your own blend.Listen in their menu is also the Special Lassi and made from bhang  and dry fruits. This is specially sold in the month of march during Holi.

On your visit to Mathura-Govardhan do not forget to visit this licensed bhang shop near the bus stop, Sarkari Theka Bhang. They sell bhang golis and lassis.

"It was a Mathura-Vrindavan trip. We enjoyed a lot. There is direct commutation from Railway Station to Janmbhumi (Mathura). Special attraction is Peda of "Brijwasi Mithai Wala". There is a GolGappa shop (very small shop counter at corner on the turn towards Janmbhumi fro main road). So tasty. Vrindavan is great place. After darshan you can enjoy Lassi and Tikki in the market," says HolidayIQ Traveller Amit.

In Pushkar, there are a number of wall cafe rustling up bhang lassi for the many travellers and selling them in different strengths and also different sizes. They offer medium sized, medium strength Bhang Lassi. Famous for the camels and various kinds of shakes available, Pushkar offers a lot of head spin opportunities. Do not miss to try the bhaang lassi here.

"Pushkar can be called Kasol of West India. A perfect weekend getaway from Delhi-NCR. Pushkar hosts the world famous Camel Fair. While in Pushkar try not to do anything. I mean it literally, just lay back and enjoy the surreality with which hipsters meet the classic India. Just laze around and enjoy the yummy falafal served on road side thelas. Yes!! Pushkar is a place where Israeli food is served on roadsides in India. If you like trekking/ roaming around in nothingness, you can hike to Savitri Temple early in the morning. It will hardly take you 45-50 mins and the sun rise from there is worth much more than that. One should also go to the Pushkar lake in the evening to witness the famous arti. Overall, Pushkar is a perfect destination if u want a break from busy city life of Delhi to just laze around and do nothing," says HolidayIQ Traveller Divyanshu Kumra.
