Goodbye mainstream hill stations. Hello Auli! A one stop paradise for ski lovers, it’s one of the best places to enjoy snow sports too.  

Poonam shares her memorable experience: “Auli is a lovely place to go with your partner. I had gone with my husband for our honeymoon. The weather was amazing. I really enjoyed the snow and than in the night it was raining. We had gone for trekking also. We were there in Auli for almost 5 days and it was fun. If I get a chance it would prefer to go to Auli again.”

2. Khajuraho

Pradeep offers some tips: “Khajuraho is world famous for its temples which were built 1100 years ago. It is a very small town with a population of  not more than 20,000. But tourists flock here every time during the year.We stayed in Hotel Radisson Khajuraho for two days. The hotel was great and it was a memorable trip.”

White sandy beaches, affordable scuba diving, clear blue waters and a chance to explore marine life- Tarkarli has it all.

Vedangi describes her experience: “Nice place, awesome environment, worth visiting once, Tarkarli beach is very famous and clean. Scuba diving has also started in recent years, about the food one should must try the seafood, you can get a lot of variety in it. Good place for non-vegetarians.”

Aninda tells you just why, “You can come here, nice place, can visit Cherrapunjee, Mawsynram always. But I will tell you some places which are even more awesome. Laitlum, Sweet Falls, Nongkhnum, West Khasi Hills, Beautiful valleys, Canyons, Lakes, Hot Springs, I'm a travel photographer, trust me.”

Deepak implores you to give it a try: “A place that excites kids and turns every adult into a kid. Typical Kerala style food and good hotels and restaurants which are easy to find. The beach was also great for sightseeing. A special mention to all the boat houses and boat rides of this place.”

6. Dandeli

Ankit gives you some more reasons to visit Dandeli: “A great place to go, a trip of 3 days if more than enough. Nice wildlife habitat and flora and fauna. River rafting in the Kali river is a must and one can also do river crossing over there. You can stay there in a resort just near the river. Everyone will have a great experience.”
