Rajmachi, perched on the western ghats comes to life during the monsoon, which turns parched grasslands into rolling meadows of shallow pools and beautiful waterfalls. The trekking in this area is brilliant and the fort is a must trek one.

Mukund: Fort Rajmachi is a unique historical fort at a distance of about 15 km. from Lonavala. Though it is a Trekkers' destination, one can reach Fort Rajmachi, from Lonavla, in an SUV. The jeepable track in dry season only (in rainy season from June to October it is very slushy) is very rough. Homely food is available on the Camping Site of Rajmachi Rural Aid and Development Programme.?

Saurab: Had a great stay at Kolad which is 4 hrs driving from Mumbai. We went for an office trip and enjoyed the adventure activities especially water based activities like rafting, kayaking, rappelling etc. Rafting was fun and the best part was swimming in the running water (wearing life jacket). The rapids are excellent.
