About 180 km from Bangalore, the road starts to climb up a mountain. A holy mountain, an ancient mountain, a mountain of legend and wild heritage. BR Hills is holy to the Soliga tribe and is the haunt of the Tiger. A mix of spirituality and wilderness. The wildlife safari is a must do.

Start early from BR Hills to catch a glimpse of an elephant as you leave the sanctuary. After 140 km you after traversing pristine wilderness area and tea estates you reach touristy Ooty. 25 km away is this quaint little town. Feel the viens of the nilgiris, tea estates, rainforests and the occasional malabar squirrel. Your soul feels at home!

Kotagiri is a town surrounding by valleys, ridges, pristine wilderness areas and tribal settlements. This is where your soul connects with mother nature and here most interesting off-spring. Spend a day exploring, it leaves an impression on you.

Scaling spectacular views of evergreen rainforests through protected wilderness habitat, into rolling coffee estates of Coorg you reach the base of Thadiyandamol, Coorg's tallest mountain peak. They say on clear days you could glimpse the Arabian Sea from the very top. Your sould wants to kiss the clouds!

Beyond Coorg the western ghats become more formidable as you enter Malnad. Saklesphur is beautiful during the monsoons. The coffee estates and surrounding rainforests present adventure and trekking traails like no where else. Your soul is overjoyyed

A 100 km away from Sakleshpur through dense forests and araccanut plantations, near the town of Chimagalur you reach the Baba Budangiri peak. Legend has it that this sufi saint brought the first coffee beans and planted them here, thus giving the region of its main economy
