Pithoragarh district is at about 3600m high from sea level and the Vyas cave is situated on a mountain near Kalapani. The caves originated in the town of Vyaspur which is currently named as Bilaspur in the state of Himachal Pradesh. As located at the Satluj bank, this place is meant to be the Holy place in the Badrinath.

Arjun Gufa is the cave where Arjun is believed to have meditated for the weapon of Lord Indra. Found at the embankments of Beas river merely 3 miles distant from Manali, the place offers peace and tranquility to the villages in its vicinity as well.

Known as the ‘Ajanta of the Himalayas', the Tabo caves are located close to the monastery, about 45 km from the town of Kaza, Spiti. Bikram Khalkho tells on HolidayIQ, “Its a monastery established in 996 A.D. The whole monastery is made up of mud and there is a spiritual feeling as one enters into the monastery.

This is one of the rarely known caves of Himachal Pradesh, natural and 30 kms from Sarahan, Sirmour. This is the holy cave where Shringi Rishi had meditated long back. They are popular for beautiful rock formations which are naturally created.

Trilokpur is a small village about 24ms from Nahan. These are naturally formed caves which took shape from stalagmites and stalactites. Trilokpur sports an audience hall above the caves and they are all dedicated to Lord Shiva.
