Shweta Shetty shares, “I had been to Nainital a few years back with friends. We went in January and it was freezing. The entire feel of the place was so welcoming. It was love at first sight for me. The people, food, various points and few fun activities like boating, cable car ride made it a memorable vacation. Do go there just for a different experience if you have some time in hand.”

Sanjay Khan shares: “Burhanpur destination may not be as popular as other Hills or Beach destination on tourist map, but Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar's famous song 'Tota Maina Ki Kahani tau purani, purani ho gayi' has given much popularity because of an original love story of 'Tota Maina Ki Kahani'.

“Story says, there was a drought in the city and Abdul Rahim Khan-i-Khana, one of Akbar's Navratnas, ruled this city for a decade in the 16th century, came to ask for help to Seer Hazrat Shah Mustaqbil and he set free Tota and Maina from the cages and told Rahim that Tota and Maina would help to identify the water source. They guided Rahim to the water source and were found dead, wrapped in each other's wings. There is a grave for Tota and Maina and for the Seer, with whom Tota and Maina lived in different cages. That reservoir, Khuni Bhandara, constructed on top of a hill by Rahim from where water was later brought to the city through canals, still exists.”

Kashyap KM shares, “My friends and me had planned a trip to Kalimpong, a small beautiful town in the hills of west Bengal. In the last minute, my friends had dropped out and I was left alone. If I didn't visit this place, this time, I was sure I wouldn't anytime soon. And then I had decided to let go off them and go alone. Trust me. The experience of travelling alone (even for a small trip) is very different. “

“Your time’s not accountable to anything or anyone. You can do anything at your own leisure. I went around the small streets of Kalimpong and spent my evening shopping and eating the local food. That evening was just relaxing and went smooth. The next morning I visited a nearby place called Delo. It's a wonderful picnic spot with nice viewpoints and restaurants. The best part of it was the paragliding I had done there. First adventure sport of my life. An experience of a lifetime. If you want a calm and cool place, visit Kalimpong.”
