This Review is only about the travel on this route through the Bangalore-Munnar Super Deluxe.
The importance of this schedule is that this the last bus, which passes through the Bandipur forest, without special Pass.
This bus leaves MCTC bus station, Nayandahalli at 16. 00 Hrs. Please ensure that you are on time, as the bus is having a race with time, the forest closes at 21. 00 Hrs, don't expect it to wait for you.
It has to cover a distance of 214 km in 5Hrs with traffic and stoppages. So the bus ensures a good pace. This drive will be very much entertaining for Heavy Vehicle Speed lovers. Since the Humps along Bangalore Mysore highway has been removed the ride has been improved to a great extent.
Try to get seats on the left side of the bus, as the sun will be very harsh on the right side by upto Mandya, due to direction of travel.
Once you cross Nanjangud, the road widening and improvement works are going at a brisk pace. The road is very good from there. As it is a new road you will find only four humps (at Gundlupet) upto forest entry. This stretch is where you can see the bus touching its maximum speeds.
Once you enter the forest, be watching both sides. You may be able to sight the Elephants in groups, or as single. The forest stretch in karnataka is having more than thirty humps for a distance of twenty kilo meters. This is the only minus point of this route.
Once you enter kerala, again you are free of humps. The bus stops for night food at Sulthan Bathery KSRTC bus Stand. Vegetarians, please note, the food for you at this station is far away from being good. So be prepared.
Further as you progress the Thamarassery Churam will give you ample natural beauty to look at, if you are awake.
So if you are love speeding in a bus along a scenic route, you are for a treat in this schedule. And you may not be able to click much photos.
Excellent bus service from Trivandrum bus station to Kochi. AC was working excellent. Staff driver and conductor were excellent in behaviour and very courteous though we were from Gujarat, not knowing their language. Low floor buses. Giving best view enroute Trivandrum and Kochi.
Very good service provided by KSRTC A/C Volvo Garuda. Nice bus. Blankets was supplied by conductor himself. Timing good. Reached right time on destination. Nice trip. Overall, very comfortable journey.

I was late from my regular schedule and next day I have to reach Kollam for further work, so I have to board the last bus. It is good to have the last bus, but it is a regular bus. Not much to describe about it, but the bus staff were simply supportive.
There was only one bus available from Mysore via Wayanad, Calicut, Trissur. Road was good but it is full of Ghat section and almost 13 hours journey. Keep away from this route if you feel sick in ghat section roads with curves. Other wise road is in good condition. Pack your own food if are a vegetarian.
It was an amazing ride from Ernakulam to Munnar and it was as planned by us. Starting early in the morning at around 8 was perfect. The bus takes you through the ghats having amazing view. I would like to suggest you that, it is a very curvy ride through, so if you are prone to motion sickness, you rather carry a number of plastic bags. The time taken was 5 hours and was perfect as the weather was awesome in Munnar.
My tour to Kanyakumari was with my family and we travelled in Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (Kerala SRTC) bus from Kollam. They started the travel in the schedule time (correct on time) and reached the destination on time. There was no any kind of difficulty in any part of the journey. The Kerala SRTC staff were more co- operative and helpful.
I travelled from Chennai to Pondicherry by bus and it was awesome. It's the journey which I will remember the whole of my life. Earlier I was sceptic about using the site for reservation but it was worth it. I had the best time of my life.
From Kollam enough RTC buses are available to Palghat and from there to Coimbatore and to destination place Ooty. The bus started trip in the correct time and reached Ooty in the scheduled time. No difficulty experienced in any part of the journey. The behaviour and dealings of the RTC staff were good. The bus stopped at the demanded places without any hesitation. Altogether the journey was pleasant.
I got the bus from Punalur to Thirunelvely in Kerala Road Transport Corporation Bus and the bus reached on time at Tirunelveli. From Thirunelvely the journey to Rameswaram was in the train and coming from Kanyakumari to Rameswaram I boarded into train no 22622 which stated from Tirunelveli at 23:45 hrs. The train was fully loaded with pilgrims. The train service to and fro from Rameswaram is only on allotted days. The train reached Rameswaram at 06:00 hr. Sound sleep in the train and the train passes through Pamban Rail Bridge having a total length of 2065 metres. A nice journey al together.
