Good comfortable bus journey and service was on time

Aug 18, 2015

We started our journey to Goa, by booking a A/c semi sleeper. The bus was Benz and I was very satisfied with the quality of the bus. The bus was very punctual. The driver seemed to be very experienced as I have not felt I was taking a bus the entire time. We started at night and reached the destination prior to the estimated time. I was given a bed sheet and a water bottle and the service was very good. The bus had comfortable seats and best for a semi sleeper to sleep. So I planned to take this travels every time I visit Goa.

Bus got broke down and service was delayed

Jul 30, 2015

Staff behavior is all right, but difficult to understand Hindi/English. Bus started timely but engine failure around 4:00 Am in the remote area near Ahmadnagar and no information received regarding next bus service availability. Finally bus came around 11:30 Am and we lost one day and my complete schedule vanished.

No complaint but the overall experience however could have been better

Jul 28, 2015

Bus left 15 minutes late which is still okay as compare to the few other bus service providers but it look longer than I was told while booking. Overall, no complaint but the overall experience however could have been better. Staff in the bus were okay but at the boarding point, the staff seems to be busy without work.

Bus was lat to the boarding point and lack of amenities

Jul 27, 2015

The bus delayed for around 3 hours to come at the boarding point. There was no facility of charging point and WiFi. Blanket was chargeable for Rs 70 per blanket apart from providing around Rs 600 for an A/C sleeper seat. Halt Station was not up-to the mark hygienic and so was the rest room there.

Bus service was cancelled without intimation and poor service

Jul 25, 2015

I booked two tickets from Mahabaleshwar to Pune. Bus got cancelled and was never informed about it. Had to make last minute bookings for another bus service. According to the bus operator (Paulo), the bus that we booked had incorrect timing on redBus and that they could not provide that bus. This information was provided on the night before the journey.

Below average sleeper coach service from Paulo Travels

Jul 21, 2015

The service and quality factor of Paulo Travels was below average:

1) Pick-up: worst. We have booked from the starting point(office of Paulo); however, just half an hour before reporting time, we were informed (rather forced- in sweet threatening language) to report to the 4th pick up point (which was nearly 8 km away) which costed us conveyance of Rs. 150/- plus stress (To stand on a strange place-road awaiting the bus for about 30 minutes).

2) Travel experience- Very rash driving by 1 driver (in night time): The coach's real wheels are literally dragged on all the (speed) barkers. When one senior passenger at last seat requested to cross the said breakers little slow, the driver(captain) literally barked at him that "there are more than 150 breakers in the road, and in no way I can go slow than this- indirectly indicating that if you are not comfortable, get down). The poor old man was helpless and was quite.

3) The sleepers were good in quality with good/sufficient space.

4) Availability of WiFi- Audio and video service in the coach was displayed in each compartment. However, in-spite of repeated request, WiFi, compartment lights, mobile charging pints were not made available during the entire travel.

5) Luggage handling and storage was good.

Good bus operator and staff are very cooperative

Jul 9, 2015

The staff on Paulo Travels on this journey were particularly surly and not being responsive. For starters, the driver could not explain the location of the boarding point clearly when I tried to reach the point. It was probably a language problem, but it would help if they are taught basic English being a service for a tourist destination like Goa.

They did not provide a blanket even though the A/C was on full blast, saying I had to pay Rs. 70/- for renting a blanket. Such information should be displayed while I book the ticket because I would have brought a blanket along if I had known I had to shell out extra money for a blanket. Every other bus service provides blanket for free if it is an A/C coach.

The charging point in my bay did not work and I was very callously asked to use some other customer's bay to charge my phone.

They stopped once for dinner at a decent place but next day morning they stopped at some random place where only the men took a leak in the open. They made it seem that they will stop at a different point for the women but then asked us to go in the bushes which I found ridiculous. To top it all the staff wanted to justify it as fine when I complained.

I found a poster inside the bus stating that it was mandatory for us to pay Rs. 10 to the driver/staff. This too is unheard in any other bus service.

Very hard journey better to travel by train or flight

Jul 5, 2015

Try avoiding roads if some has vomit problems then its not good to travel by roads. Train is better option or by air. In sleeper bus its good if you have seat on top. So better to take private car or air or train. Other wise if you don't have problem then its good to travel.

Very good road to travel

May 16, 2015

We started on 25th night. I reached Andheri at 10:15 pm and boarded the bus. As per plan we catch Pune-Kohlapur highway. It's really very good road to travel. Then through Amboli ghat headed towards Panjim. At around 12:30 pm on Republic day, we reached Dona Paula Beach. There we got very good accommodation at comparatively cheap rate. We had our lunch and then started sightseeing from Dona Paulo. Finest places in the world.

No proper facilities and avoid if possible

May 11, 2015

I travelled in M33 in May 2015 in this bus. The Bus was a A/c Sleeper bus which was supposed to provide us facilities like Blanket, Charging point.

The moment we entered the bus we realized the blankets were missing and charging points not working.

When inquired we were being told that blankets are over and charging points not working very rudely by Bust staff.

Further, the driver was abusive when a girl went to her and requested him to allow to charge from his charging point in front which was working. The entire bus was dirty, nobody from Paulo bothered.

Curtains were missing at many seats. The driver took regular breaks for smoking throughout night ensuring the bus which was already late doesn't reach on time.

If that was not enough my seat was booked twice, I had booked online and other lady had given ticket on counter. The staff fought over it for an hour, kept on asking me to show ticket countless time which was irritating. Finally the other passenger was adjusted in another bus.

I would suggest travellers to stay away from this Bus operator.
