Reasons to go to Guhagar

1For its picnic spots by the cliff

HolidayIQ Reviewer Ruchi Shitole shares, “Pleasant place for a family picnic; Guhagar is easily reachable beach from Mumbai and Pune. It's untouched and clean beach, unlike other beaches. You have resorts and local people offering accommodation with a home like food. Best for seafood. There are changing rooms and decent toilets too.”

2Beautiful Drive On Golden Sands
Beautiful Drive On Golden Sands

HolidayIQ Traveller Ninad Purandare from Mumbai shares,"Guhagar is an excellent place to visit. The beach is virgin with golden sands. Lots of turtles. Food is okay. Not much variety to eat. lots of temples to visit. Overall a good experience. Village is filled with coconut and betel nut trees. Life is slow here. Roads are not wide and be careful while driving. Bars are not many so get your stock. It is close from Chiplun."

Silent Guhaghar

Guhaghar is amongst one of the beaches along the konkan coastal line which usually is less crowded, clean and near to white sand types.
Advised for people who like the silence of a beach and the sound of the sea washing against the sand.
All age groups can enjoy here. Gradually sloping beach, flat types just so you can dip in the sea without fear. (Make a note of the tides though)
Can visit all round the year, avoid rainy seasons as it would spoil your mood.
Jet skying, para gliding are the activities available.
You would find very less non veg hotels here. Also don't expect lip smacking food here, every food you get will be average.
