On business in Chhapar for a week with a colleague and other friends. Travelled on to Jabalpur for sightseeing and presently surprised at the things we could see and do. The day went very well . My friends to the interesting sites. The boat trip was the best part of the day.

Laid back city.
As the city is a 'laid back one' the people here do not care about the time. You may tell someone to meet at a time and do not go till next 4 hours or do not go at all. A true Jabalpuria will not mind it. The ode of transport has changed now from pedal rickshaw and bicycles to auto rickshaw and scooters, which is a good thing. But there is no control on asking fare as there is no meter in auto rickshaws . Chaat is good here and so is south Indian food in Indian Coffee House, specially Cantt branch.

A Trip to Jabalpur
I had been to Jabalpur by road in the month of October 2016. Jabalpur is a must-visit attraction in the tourism circuit of Madhya Pradesh. The must-visit attractions around Jabalpur include Dhuandhar Falls, Madan Mahal Fort and Bargi Dam. The Dhuandhar falls is located on the river Narmada and falls from a cascading height of 98 feet and is located 30 kilometers from Jabalpur. Madan Mahal Fort is located at a height of 500 meters and was constructed in the 11th century by the son of Rani Durgavati, Madan Shah. Bargi Dam is located around 40 kilometers from Jabalpur and is located on the mighty Narmada river. One can avail of the boating facilities here and it is a perfect view-point for sun-set in this majestic natural extravaganza.
