If you don't visit Jamnagar you get a negative impression of Gujrat

Why should travelers visit the destination?
Travelers who are keen to explore historical places, keen bird watchers, and those who want to spend good time away from work must visit this place.
Which places are must visits:
Lakhota Lake, Bird Sanctuary in Khajadia, Museum, Bala Hanuman Temple
Local food and shopping
Out of the places Rajkot, Dwarka and Jamnagar, this is the only place I could get a delicious Gujrati Thali for a decent price. All sorts of Sodas, very good meetha paan. All at a very justified price.
Activities
You can spend the whole day watching and feeding a variety of interesting birds.

A Trip to Jamnagar

I had been to Jamnagar by road in the month of October 2016. Jamnagar is a must-visit attraction in the tourism circuit of Gujarat. The must-visit attractions around Jamnagar include the Bala Hanuman Temple and the Positra Beach. The Bala Hanuman Temple is built along the south-eastern part of Ranmal Lake. It is the oldest temple in Jamnagar. It was constructed during 1963-64 by Sri Prembikshuji Maharaj. The temple has made its entry into the Guinness Book of World Records due to the continous chanting of Ram Nam day and night. Positra Beach is a beautiful sandy beach and is a must-visit for tourists who desire the dual benefits of peaceful environment and relaxation. This is a must-visit attraction as it has huge rocks in its vicinity. One has to take prior permission of the Gujarat Forest Department to visit this beautiful beach.

Typically Gujarati

Jamnagar is blend of culture and development. With narrow streets and busy lifestyle, you can feel the beauty of Gujarat. The place has good connectivity with the neighbouring places.
We were 4 mates and had a 3 day stay here. The people are helpful and welcoming . . You will find even the busiest of street very much clean, which is a special trait of almost all of Gujarat.
Rann of Kutch and marine national park are must visit places in the vicinity.
Summarising, the place is simple and nice.

Good Place to explore

This is the location convenient for the travellers who want to go to Dwarka or Somnath. As this is the closest airport for the Dwarka & Somnath. The must locations in the city apart from swami narayan temple is the mahavir bandhani. The palace of the exclusive bandhanis which offer chaniya cholis, sarees & dress material. Mahavir being the original manufacturer of the bandhani you get the best deal in terms of quality & the money. The other must visit location is that of the Vyas kachori. Jamanagar is one such place which offers ample variety of kachori thebest one offcourse is the dry fruit kachori. I spent my time in shopping & visiting eateries as we were their for a very short while.

A renovated town!

Okay it as a town, its not a city. Some places around Jamnagar is good not that great, and local food at some places is amazing should try that, with the help of localities. Lakhota a lake situated in middle of the town has been renovated and its a good place now.

Awesome place to go!

It is very good city. In Jamnagar lakhota lake is awesome place to visit. Atleast once you have to visit. In center of Lake one large killa was mad by King. Our king JAMRANJITSINH was great player of cricket. Still ranjitrophy named by him. Ranjitsagar dam is also beautiful place. There is a large garden as well as in monsoon you can take Bath under dhodh. Jamnagar is Costel area. Krishnamagri Dwarka is nearby to Jamnagar city. Recently open Amusement Park for public. It is greatest. You have to visit. Jamnagar has army, navy, and airforce. Jamnagar is awesome city. I love Jamnagar.
