Sit back and relax with friends with a scenic view

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rizwanuddin Rafiq shares, “My favourite beach Mandrem is another quiet beach, the most affectionate for me and for others, the best-preserved paradise on the North Goan coast because there's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it's sent away.

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rizwanuddin Rafiq says, “This is the place where blue sapphire coloured ocean will get you mesmerized, as well as a perfect beach for physical transform and beach shakes play their role sincerely. As this beach lies 10 Km from Bardez, and very good road connectivity and to monitor the lifeguards for safety and they love to welcome you, as some of them I know by their names.

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rizwanuddin Rafiq adds, “Mandrem is, for many, the best-kept mystery on the North Goan coast just 20 km from Anjuna Bardez. As a destination, here you may be relaxed. It provides an opportunity to transform, and you'll find ever-changing options for spiritually slanted exercises and enlightenment along its sands. Most accommodations, dining and alternative therapy options are along the narrow beach-access road or on the sparkling sands themselves. You just have to walk down through a beautiful park developed by the forest department. This is very popular among the foreign tourists; safety remains the priority of the Goan Tourism, with continuous monitoring by lifeguards. ”

It is one of the safest beaches and has numerous beach shacks, really served fine sea-food and beverage of your choice. This beach is also a great choice for foreign tourists, it has very soft and nice sand and a very good stretch and the beach is having a uniform gradient and waves are really nice. ...The waves of the beautiful Arabian sea helps you get back to you. Sea Bath remains always favourite and sea food especially prawns at End Of The World Beach Shake and exploring the new places and shopping usually I avoid. This is the place full of joy where one may burn out pain and also helps to rejuvenate. This place is naturally designed and created a wonderful place where people make their dream to a reality. When you leave a beautiful place, you carry it with you wherever you go. This is a beautiful location in North Goa where one feel blessed .

Privacy with nature and your loved ones

Not so crowded and not far from the busy life lies this lovely secluded and not too commercialized beach. Just grab a beer take a book find a shady place and relax in the laps of nature. Pamper yourself with awesome Goan cuisines and loving hospitality.

Mandrem Overview

Mandrem is a village situated in the Pernem taluka of the North Goa District. The lifestyle of the local inhabitants is simple and similar to what it used to be hundred years ago. There is a famous Mandrem Beach in the village and this long, secluded beach is ideal for swimming.

Mandrem is famous for its green cashew nut plantations, stone carvings, palm tree lined shoreline and natural cattle range areas. The village features white sandy beaches and rocky hills that are suitable picnic spots. Mandrem Beach is also connected with the beaches of Ashvem (also called as Ashwem) and Junas.

As compared to other beaches, at Morjim and Ashvem, the Mandrem Beach features important accommodation and entertainment options. Mandrem Beach is least crowded and is popular among honeymooners. Tourists can also engage in activities such as dolphin spotting, yoga, sunbathing and massages at Mandrem village.

The capital city Panaji is situated at around 32 km from Mandrem and the nearest railway station at Pernem is located around 20 km away. Dabolim Airport in Goa is the only airport serving this region, which is connected with various national and international destinations.

Mandrem is a year-round destination, except for the monsoon months, as the village experiences heavy rainfall during this season.
