Official Visit

Recently on Guwahati trip, I had to visit Mangaldai as well for an official assignment. The distance between 2 cities is approx 75 kms. A round trip by Uber/Ola or private vehicle will cost approx rs 2500 for a round trip. Alternatively, reach Jalukbari and catch buses/traveler going toward Tezpur. Buses cover this distance in approx 2 hrs and ticket will cost you rs 50 each side. Local autos/rickshaws are available at the bus stand . . Repose is one the best known restaurants in town for meals. Though I did not stay there, there are few hotels available. Orang National Park is one of the prime attractions here and can be visited for single horn rhions, tigers, elephants etc. Taxis are available.
