Mangalore is a town with a big difference

Very clean with lots of greenery around, Coconut trees embracing the town. The very being in that district in my opinion will enhance our oxygen intake . Disciplined people around with lots of civic senses, Mangalore famous many temples around, Kadri, mangaladevi, gokarnanath, Kateel, Polali and many more, Saligrama Gurunarasimha is one of those upcoming visiting places. Mangalore good liked by many as unique food like Avalakki, Golibajji, Podi, Dosa, Patrode apart from other dishes as that district contributed so much on Udupi food around the globe. Mangalore being knowledge city housing many universities for technical, medical as well for high school and PU to compete for entrance tests.

Good Place

It is very good place. Be careful while driving. You will get best sea food here. Nearby beaches are also there. Shopping malls are also there. Nice place for family or even with friends. Traffic problems are also there at some time like busy hours like morning and evening.

Peaceful place with good sightseeing and historical places

I liked Manglore due to it's uniqueness of culture and peace. You will find many historical places like temples and nice sensitising points like tannir bhavi beach, where you can experience good sunset through beach. Most amazing thing is to ride through auto and they actually follow traffic rule without police involvement

Treasure hunt

The quaint but well known ice cream parlors situated in Mangalore city and Udipi are like discovering treasures whilst on a treasure hunt. The funny names like Gadbad, three men in a boat and Dilkhush are a delight not only to your eyes but your taste buds too.
Must visit places are Pabbas, Diana and Ideal
Light houses are another attraction in this place ... Kaup beach and Urethral beach have beautiful views atop the light houses. They etch memories into your mind forever.
Mangalore is roughly divided into the more urban Mangalore City or Kudla and the traditional Udipi. Ucchila and Malpe beaches are famous amongst tourists and are definitely a must visit. Sadly since the phone broke I can't upload those pics. But no regrets ... Memories are for a lifetime
Mangalore is an experience for sure.

Discover the highlights of the city of Mangalore as you enjoy visits to St Aloysius Church, Gokarnat

Your tour begins with a visit to a cashew factory. India is the world’s largest producer and exporter of cashews, and Mangalore is the birthplace of the cashew processing industry. Many innovations in processing this delicious nut have been spawned right here, particularly those affecting product quality and performance. The factory in Mangalore has more than 500 workers, many of them women from local areas. During your visit here, you can learn more about the production process where cashew kernels, shells, husks and rejects are separated from the saleable product. The cashew nuts are dried in the yard, and then roasted in huge containers. They are transferred by conveyor to another department, and the opened nuts are roasted in trays. After roasting, they are sent for peeling and then to the grading department. There are 27 grades of cashew nuts depending on their colour, size and pieces. After grading, they are packaged and ready for sale.
Following your visit, you continue to the Kadri Manjunath Temple, which dates back to around 1068. The chief deity of this temple is Manjunath – Lord Shiva – who is depicted in a statue made of bronze.
Proceed to St Aloysius Chapel, which is located in the heart of the city. This architectural gem is a must-see in Mangalore. The church was built between 1899 and 1900, and the special beauty of the chapel lies in the wonderful series of fresco paintings by Italian artist Antonio Moscheni which cover virtually every inch of the ceilings and walls. The central row of paintings on the ceilings depicts the life of Aloysius Gonzaga – a young man who shunned wealth, power and influence to serve the needy.
Finally, visit the Gokarnath Temple, a modern temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple was built by a Hindu business man for the non-Brahmins of Mangalore, who were denied entry to Brahmin temples. Inside the temples are marble floors and golden paintings, while murals depict a variety of scenes from legends, mythology and epics of different gods and goddesses.
Panambur beach is one of the Beaches to visit if your are in Mangalore or Planning to visit Mangalore. This is close by to the city and easily accessible with good connectivity.
The shacks in beach and food stalls everything is so perfectly managed and most importantly it's still clean.
Sunset from the beach was amazing, great place to hangout and chill with Family or Friends. You can spend good time enjoying the Various sports at this beach.
