A nice place to visit
I had been to Medak by road in September 2015. Medak is located 100 kilometers from Hyderabad on the road to Mumbai at an altitude of 1400 feet above sea level. Medak church is one of the largest churches in South India and is the second largest diocese in the world. Medak fort is an ancient fort built around the 12th century. The Pocharam reservoir was constructed during the british reign between 1916 and 1922 across the beautiful river Alliar which is a tributary of the manjira river. The Pocharam forest is spread over an area spanning 130 square kilometers. Other places of tourist interest in Medak are Laksmi Narasimhaswamy temple and the Venugopalaswamy Temple. The best time to visit Medak is between September to February .

There is also a fort for some historic feel
There is a church in Medak which is very famous, and there is also a fort for some historic feel. There nothing much for a holiday destination, it is more like a place for joyrides or long drives just for a change from city traffic. This is what I believe at least.
