A high altitude Golf course near Shimla, need membership for entry. But you can roam surroundings of Golf course. You can ride by pony or go up by walk. If you are travelling with your kids they can enjoy the pony ride.
Naldehra is a very quaint and serene town in Comical Pradesh. It is of course, known for its 9 hole golf course. It is the best place for you to visit if you think you can splurge a little. However, if you do not want to visit the place for Golf, then you can easily take a walk or hire a pony around te course. It is a lush green expanse and if you have kids going along wit you, they are going to love it.

Relaxed Holiday in the Hills

About 20 kms ahead of Shimla, Naldehra is a quiet hamlet with one well known property (Chalet Naldehra) and a scenic golf course that would wow enthusiasts of the game . . Naldehra has mountain trails that go around beautiful woods and great to walk around. There are not too many options (for which you'd have to go to Shimla) but that makes it perfect for a relaxed holiday. To reach Naldehra, you have to go via Shimla (if in a car) or the bypass (if in a bus). Both options have very high traffic and the travel time has to be planned accordingly.

Adventure and lots of Fun

We booked a two bedroom cottage in advance at, Naldehra . . The property is nice and location is great. Its far away from the traffic and crowd of Shima. TheThe cottage was neat and clean and full value for money. The food served there was not very good. It was average. Their service is slow due to shortage of staff The must visit place around Naldehra is Tatapani. It is 32 km away. Its on the bank of river Satluj. We did river rafting and it was adventuresome We also went for a Horse ride in the jungle. It was a fun experience Overall a nice family experience.

We had amazing moments at naldehra. We would like to visit again & again. On top of it the mesmerizing view of wooden cottages and the landscape along with the food was icing on the top. However the bathrooms were not up to the expectation as compared to the rooms.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The appetizer\'s was amazing, Rapid room services, the hospitality of the staff all were top notch but above all we were completely glued by the astounding scenery one gets through the cottages.

Activities & things to do: Both indoor and outdoor games facility available. One could easily play cricket and other games they also have pool facility available.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It is hardly 20kms from Shimla you can easily hire a Cab from naldhera as it will be cheaper as compared to others and if one intends to go through kalka one should prefer booking through hotel only.
