Pachmarhi is a famous hill station situated in Madhya Pradesh. It is located in the plateaus of the Satpura ranges at an altitude of 1066 meters. The pleasant and moderate climate of Pachmarhi is a well sought tourist destination. The average maximum temperature that has been recorded is 35° Celsius.

Summer in Pachmarhi is from May till July. The maximum temperature that has been recorded during summer is 35° Celsius. Days are warm but refreshing owing to the green vegetation. The temperature during nights is usually lower with a minimum of 28° Celsius. Occasional showers keep the temperatures in check and turn the place ideal for vacation. Light cotton clothes should be carried in the trip to Pachmarhi during summer.

Monsoon begins from July and last through September. Pachmarhi experiences moderate rain during the first half of the monsoon and heavy rains during the latter half. The average rain fall recorded in Pachmarhi is 785mm. The weather remains cloudy throughout the monsoon with a maximum temperature of 27° Celsius and a minimum of 20° Celsius. Monsoon in Pachmarhi brings out seasonal waterfalls which add to the lush greenery of the place. Pachmarhi becomes a favorable holiday destination post monsoon.

Winter in Pachmarhi is from November to February. The maximum temperature recorded during the day time is 15° Celsius. There will be a substantial drop in temperature during winter nights that reaches up to 4° Celsius. Heavy woollen clothes are hence required to escape from the biting weather. Though chilly, winter season in Pachmarhi attracts tourists towards it. Misty atmosphere add the beauty of the place.
Pachmarhi is a year round tourist destination. The best season to visit Pachmarhi is September to May.
