Nothing special here
Its not a holiday destination, but if you happen to visit this place for some official or otherwise work. Then city is not that bad. You'll find all the things you need here. Hotels, markets etc. Although very hot in summers so plan accordingly. Hotels here are not so lavish but still you can find a good hotel. Public transport is available easily connecting you with-other parts of city and other cities.

"One of the best Hotel experiences I've ever had"
Staff and Service - Everyone in this hotel works to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We had 100% exceptional service 100% of the time. Front desk staff even helped us check in to our flight on the way back and always remembered our names. Room service and Housekeeping were prompt and polite and fulfilled all our requests right away. E. G. I called Front Desk to ask where the ice machine was and they offered to bring ice up to my room . . Rooms - Beautiful, clean, modern and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. TV in the bathroom mirror…. Hello! Lots of clean towels, and luxurious bathrobes. I fell in love with the room as soon as I opened the door. Roof top patio - Really cute, has a cool laid back bohemian theme and is just beautiful. Very cool background music. Amazing view of the ocean. Great little nooks and set up. You can have drinks up there, order food, chill out, and there are sunbathing loungers as well. Pool - Located in a little secluded courtyard with a very zen like feel. A hidden gem. Beach - When you stay at the Betsy you have a special setup at the beach as well. It's all included. Beach lounge chairs and towels BLT Restaurant - AMAZING. We had the weekend brunch there…delicious. We also had dinner there one night. This place is renowned in Miami for their steaks.

The best state capital ever
Dehradun is the capital of the hill state Uttarakhand. The greenest capital I have ever seen. It has broad roads covered with trees on both sides. Ghantaghar is the main square where one find market with all kinds of shops and eateries. We can see Mussoorie (the queen of hill stations) and it is a beautiful sight at night. Sahasradhara is a wonderful spot with sulphur springs. Then there are Tibetan monasteries Saharanpur is a district place where carving on wood is done with excellent skills. From chairs and sofas to spoons to acupressure tools made of wood and lacy carvings is a tempting buy.

A pleasant and soothing place
Visited this small and calm place many times as its my grandma's home here. The city has numerous attractions, mostly popular for its wood and furniture products. The city is calm, the environment is soothing because of less amount of industries here. The city has good quality affordable fabrics due to textiles industries near by, the markets are small but always crowded. Their are pretty less amount and hotels and restaurants available here. The street food is quite superb and more popular among people than restaurants. The temperature goes pretty high in summers, an advice to visit only in autumn or winter. There are many religious spots like Mata Shakumbhari Devi temple and Nau Gaza Peer Baba, their are many theater and leisure places. Must visit . Thanks.
