Nice place for a temple visit

Here . Temple is superb and the way to temple is either via walk or by bus . I prefer to go by bus during up . And by walk on down . Lodges are not too costlier . Food accommodation is fair . During during aadi kiruthigai you can see lakhs of people to the temple

A pilgrim visit

The visit was a pilgrimage. So comforts were not a part of the itinery. I came down from Kumbakonam by overnight mannai express which was late by an hour. I was lucky to get accommodation at Chennai central. Travelled to arakkonam by local train and got bus to thiruthani . I arrived at the temple just in tie before the temple was closing for uchai puja. The crowd was there but not as noisy as in other places probably because they were used to the discipline at thirupathi which happens to be nearby . The darsan which was my only purpose was very pleasant and being closing time we were not allowed to stay long . . Return by auto to station was easy and got dierct local to Chennai central for my trip back to Kochi

Tiruttani we can g just for visiting temple there is nothing else which we could see, no sight seeing places, may be if we want we can go to nearby temples, like sholinger temple, tiruvallur temp etc, one night stay can be done, more than that we will not be able to stay. Hotels are not that good, and place looks dirty, it can be kept more clean since many devotees come for the visit
