We were concerned if our baggage would be transferred in BOM as our flight was delayed by 45 min. The transfer was smooth ground staff confirmed baggage on board. Check in staff was cordial gave a better seat than we choose . .
We had booked air india flight for Boeing dream liner but they gave us airbus 320 neo which is use for domestic. Travelling only. In the airbus their were no means of entertainment the staff was very rude. The food quality was very low. Main issue flight departure was delay from both side due to air india poor planes. Mumbai to Singapore, we board flight on 00. 45 am on 19th dec and boarding time they mention time is 10:50 pm. All passenger just waiting in boarding area and air india people mention flight is on time on boarding gate, due to this passenger ask them mention flight delay on boarding gate. Airbus seats worst than state transport buses ,. Don't recommend anyone about that to fly with air india which is the worst flight among all other flight companies
The experience was good on the whole but when you travel often and go via different airlines the differences are evident and they are mainly in the staff. The staff is not impolite but the way they answer and deal with you is far from nice. Smart enough to not be overtly rude and yet not pleasant at all. The food is good and the plane is very comfortable on the whole. And yet one is left with this feeling, so maybe your staff is educated to smile only at the business class passengers.
Air India is really bad with managing their flights. I almost missed my connecting flight. I did not even get my luggage on time. And they also rescheduled a flight to 2. 5 hours later. This is totally inefficient.
While the leg room in the plane is best in class, maintenance of entertainment system needs much improvement. Security at Delhi airport is awful in terms of number of working X-ray machines and personnel employed. Flight was delayed by 30 minutes just because security did not cope up with number of passengers transferring at Delhi airport at that time.
My experience of travelling with Air india was not good. First of all the flight was delayed. And the handling of thè baggage was extremal poor. As my flight reached past midnight, I was in a hurry to reach my home and I didn't checkmy bag properly. When I reached home I found that my chek in bags zip was broken with the lock. I couldnt find the lock together with the zip openers. I was so surprised to see that. My bag was spoiled and I wondered how could have that happened. This is sheer poor handling of the baggage.
At the boarding passcdesk madem Pinky Singh was not ready to attend passengers and busy on calls back to back updating govt officials that flyt is full and trying to do favours to them by keeping us on hold. We all of us started shouting she showed us hands and said this is silent airport so shutup . When we retaliated so to overcome it she has given us seats separately and said seats are not available so can't help
