Our flight from CCU to BLR was delayed causing us to miss our connection from BLR to Cochin so we reached Kochi after 10 at night instead of 1 in the noon. We missed lunch+dinner precooked at our destination. But Spicejet just compensated with a 190/- airport breakfast. An entire day of our holiday was wasted due to Spicejet's apathy. Will NEVER FLY SPICEJET AGAIN
8 jan 2018 spicejet sg862 cok-maa-ccu Well for a 5 hour delay causing a 12 hr journey and incorporation by ground staff in providing proper help, informations and refreshments, like only those asking for help were getting helped. Need to take care of the passengers when the flight is delayed by spicejets reasons, whatever the reason may be. We had paid for the premium travel and extras. No proper information about the need to change the flight at layover, even the cabin crew didn have any idea what was to be done with us, which they thought the same flight was taking us to kolkatta and later informed to be another flight and rushing everyone to the next flight causing us to loose an important book of ours in the flight, not giving enough time at the Chennai airport for refreshments or to use the bathrooms at least. Neither of the cabin crews of the two flights had any idea about what was happening and what was to be done. A check-in at 7:30 am in cochin and checkout form kolkatta at 7:40pm. A full day lost due to spicejet. All the passengers were very irritated tired suffered a lot. The same was the case with the passengers who boarded from Chennai. Was advised by friends to not book spicejet. Similar incident had happened to a passenger last week for thr same flight. Maybe its airlines playing with us. Overall the very worst experience Not gonna suggest it to anyone Gonna tell everyone who are gonna get a spicejet booking done.
We had 2 rows booked, however by the time we boarded the over baggage compartment was full. Thankfully we did not have much hand luggage. Wean aged to squeeze in all of it except 2. I asked my father to leave it for later as the other passengers were being forced to wait. I told him once the crowd clears aorline staff will help us sort out the matter. The crowd cleared and an airhostess (Shivani) came. But the first thing she did was abuse my father as she chewed away on the gum in her mouth. She did not even give a chance to explain and we did not wish to create a ruckus in flight but the incident spoiled our dampened the high spirits of our group which was flying to Kolkata to attend a wedding. Lesson learnt no Spice ever again, it is always late and the staff is never friendly
Was travelling with excess baggage. Could make the payment for it easily and have all my queries clarified by the ground staff at the check in counter. The flights were on time and comfortable. Ordered and ate from the inflight menu - it was tasty. Bags t
I request Indigo to consider extra luggage for people with foreign passport. Currently you have a policy, but only for people who travel the same day. But if I stay for a day or two and then travel, we are considered like any citizen here. How can I reduce the weight of my baggage I bought from US? So we are forced to pay extra. Unduly you do a baggage check. After that when we came to the check in counter, the person at the counter says, one of my bag cannot be in laugage. I told him it weighs only 7 kgs. But he says, it does not fit the size of cabin baggage. This should have been told when we did the security check. He has no equipment to measure if the size is correct or not. It would be nice if these things are already resolved at the baggage security check. That way, you would not waste time for other passengers. The automatic boarding pass is another issue. I had to enter several times to get my boarding oass. Sometimes the system hung. Nobody there to guide or ask questions. Unduly your boarding is so disorganized. As usual, you say boarding started and all just rush in. Why don't you do zone wise and ask the people of other zone to be seated. Thanks
