I had won a Family Picnic from my Company and Selected Radisson Resort and Spa, Alibaug as the Destination as I had been there alone during a sales meet and had plans to get my Family too at the resort for a relaxed weekend We drove to the Resort from Mumbai, we reached there by Afternoon and had to wait for our room by almost 2 hours but the wait was finally rewarded with a Cottage room which my Family enjoyed because as soon as we checked-in there were Rain Showers and the room had a small garden inside with green grass where me and my Kids just played in the rains running behind each other Kids play area and swimming pool were such attractions which were just the place to keep my Kids tied up with so excellent cuisine for vegetarian food that it was a pleasure for our taste buds with the Music being played, excellent . The final treat was the spa which was very expensive, but the most best and desirable to make the whole trip a complete relaxed and rejuvenated.
Beautiful resort situated not far from the beach. Its very nice, actually so nice you wouldn't want to leave it. The service is remarkable. The architecture is beautiful. For the price quite impressive. Nice rooms on the first floor, you get a nice balcony also there. From my balcony I got a nice view of the hills as a background to the awesome structure of the resort. Along with the slight rains of Maharashtra it was awesome. Not being far away from Pune is very good for a weekend getaway.
I was travelling from Kashid to Mumbai and was looking for a place to stop over for lunch. We decided to stop at Radisson Blue and try their restaurant. I was not staying there as guest.
After initial enquiry with front office, we decided to go for buffet lunch in their restaurant by the name "Aparanta". The restaurant has excellent decor and very comfortable seating arrangements. The place had a class in its decor and look - worthy for a 5 star property.
The buffet had huge spread and variety of food was great. The food was fresh and of great quality and taste. It had very good vegetarian options. Had good options for kids too. The food had just the right taste - neither too oily nor too spicy - just right. It was flavour-full and was served arm and fresh. Enjoyed every bite of it.
The staff was pleasant and very courteous and eager to serve us. The service was just perfect. The waiters were attentive but not intruding - and that is very important. Its thin line dividing both and the staff stayed within that line.
Buffet charges for elder kid was reduced to 50% and for the younger one they waived it completely. This shows how the staff being attentive and takes care of even small things - Remember, we were not staying in the hotel!!
Overall - it was a a great experience dining at "Aparanta". Kudos to chef for yummy food and the staff for excellent service!! Keep up the good work. Will definitely visit again.
Radisson blu is one of the best place to stay at Alibaug. Its not so far from Alibaug beach. Property is well maintained with beautiful room location. We stayed there for 1 night and enjoyed the most. Restaurant is relatively bit expensive but food is very nice. Hotel staff is very down to earth and provided best service on each moment. There are couple of activity area where you can spend your leisure time. Especially Piano and singing that makes are our evening more beautiful. Overall stay was pleasant.
The property is exceptional in all aspects, from the front office experience to the hospitality of staff to the rooms and the restaurants. The food was lip smacking, what with multiple themes. The Konkani one stood out. There was a live music performance, and the games zone was good to keep kids busy. The swimming pool is large and is accessible from some of the rooms directly, ask for one when you check in.
